Got new one on Friday, did 12 mile motorway with cruise control on, at about 60mph, and returned 70.4mpg. Really pleased so far with car, anyone beating this mpg?I got 70.4 mpg over a 12 mile stretch of road!

wait you got 12 mpg out of a hybrid and you are pleased? thats a typo right. i am getting about 27mpg city out of my cavalier when its rated at about 23-24 city. and im still upset because of the gas prices. but if you are getting 12 mpg out of a hybrid ill stay with my cavalier and my civics non hybrid.

For short distances I have exceeded that mileage, but not often. For a tank of gas I have never had much over 50 MPG. In the snow I have at times had less than 30 MPG, although never for a tank of gas.There are a couple of sites where owners report their mileage.
