I don't own an OEM shop manual, just an aftermarket type. It does not go into detail about the ABS system. I believe someone mentioned that the ABS system and the brake master cyclinder are not connected. I didn't even know there was a separate reservoir for the ABS unit until tonight when I was look at the system.
Anyway, I don't drive the car that much and I noticed that it has a "soft" brake pedal. More than likely, the master cyclinder seals are shot. Which is cheaper to do, get a rebuilt master cyclinder or the kit to rebuild it? I'm assuming that Honda didn't do anything weird when they designed the cylinder and require special tools to take it appart. Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
