Default uneven acceleration of 2001 accord?

Hello,Got an automatic 4-cyl 2001 accord with 55k miles and for several years, the acceleration has been uneven. When it accelerates, it feels like it's being pushed forward from behind.I read in an article to replace the fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs and the air intake throttle for acceleration issues.I had the air filter replaced 2 years ago. I had throttle body cleaned up 2 years ago.Do the other jobs make sense? What about fuel filter?let me know what you think!!Thanks!

get a tune up and have them check your spark plugs.

there are two common problems with the accord of that year that could be causing your problem. neither has to do with anything you have done so far.the first is that the automatic transmissions have had slipping problems that could be the cause of your poor acceleration. the transmission warranty was extended to 8 years 100,000 miles so you should still be under that warranty. the second is for the EGR valve problem. The EGR problem will usually cause the check engine light to come on. that warranty was extended to 80,000 miles.the spark plugs are fine as is the fuel filter. the spark plugs are platinum and should be good for at least 105,000 miles. the fuel filter is a neophrene sock in the fuel tank that never gets replaced.the air filter should be replaced every year. you are due for that.i would recommend you take the car to a honda dealer for inspection of the transmission as you are nearing teh end of that warranty and it will be costly if you find out after the warranty expires that the transmission is the cause of your problems.hope that helps
