Default 1984 CRX overheating!! Please Help

We dont exactly know why its doing this! We thought it might have been the thermostat so we replaced that but it continues to overheat!

It smokes out of the exhaust so now we think it might be head gasket or oils not getting past the piston which could be causing the smoking out of the exhaust!!

Any Info will be very much appreciated!!!

Thanks
