There are many differences. Engines are different, sound systems, brakes, safety equipment, and the look exterior and interior are different.

It's just trim differences. The DX is the base model. The VP (value package) gives you some more features than the DX.The LX gives you even more equipment than the DX and VP.The EX is the top trim level with things like leather interior, power everything, and nicer wheels. And I think the SE is a special edition Accord. Not every model year has the DX, VP, or the SE packages.http://autos.yahoo.com/honda_accord_...007/index.html

The EX is the most expensive and it comes with all features including Sunroof. Everything is powerLX : Almost the same as ex but it doesn't come wth sunroof. Everything is power.DX: Nothing is power and no sunroof. Everything comes manual like roll up windows.SE: Is a special edition the car comes out brand you and you decide what you want on the car.

DX is lowest trim level-Usually means no power windows or alarm or sunroof or leather or cd player. 4 cylinder engine.LX has more features like the power windows and locks and alarm. CD player. 4 cylinder engine.EX has leather, sunroof, and everything else. Optional V6.SE is special edition. My mom has a special edition accord. It came in different colors and had wood trim and other things.Never heard of VP.
