Allow me to give you the Pro's & Cons per rim sizes:18" : Pros - Car looks great, Cons - Very uncomfortable & there is stress on the engine, shocks & springs (stocks)17" : Pros - Car looks cool, Cons - Uncomfortable ride, with medium stress on stock shocks & springs.16" : Pros - Car still looks cool, Cons - Medium discomfort with slight stress on stock shoks & springs. Ride is not so good.15" : Pros - Car looks good. OK , Cons - Slight discomfort but tolerable. Ride is OK.For me if you still want comfortable ride go for the 15" with 50 or 55 series Tires. You can go for Dunlop or Nitto Tires. That is what I have. But the thing is I changed my shocks to Koni & used lowering springs. Ride is OK & car looks great.Hope I helped a little. Good luck.Cheers,

best ones would be the ones that came on the car man.... bigger wider wheel do look cool and all but really they do so much damage to a car... they but the front end parts in a strain and put a strain on the brakes and the wide tire dont last as long as others because they cant align

18'' or 20'' will do the trick if you want a larger rim. You can get low profile tires so that you don't have to modify the fender well if you don't like working with a plasma cutter. For a smoother ride go with 17'' or 16''.

Put 15"s and you'll be very pleased with them. They are lightweight and you don't have to worry about rubbing issues. Also, when you put a larger wheel on a car, you increase the rotational mass and in turn puts more strain on the engine/drivetrain which means less power and less mpgs. A 15" wheel is a perfect size for a civic and looks perfect.
