2002 Honda Civic ...What are the symptoms that the timing belt needs to be changed out? My Civic runs fine one day and the next it is sputtering and stalling. I'll pull over and wait 20 minutes and then it cranks up...then the same thing happens again. I just had the Catalytic converter changed out last weekend and the car ran fine for 5 days, the check engine light even went off, but then the symtoms came back....could this be the timing belt? whatcha think? Also I got that TDC sensor reading from a diagnostic, but i haven't heard of anybody changing that sensor out and that actually fixing the problem.
