Default would you rather a 2008 used civic or a brand new fit 2009?

i just picked up our 08 civic it...and we bought an 08 fit on the fourth of july we traded two cars that love my fit its the sport not a stick shift but this car is shared with my son who doesnt know how to drive does not get 40 miles to the gallon as a result..which is a huge does have alot of room in it believe it or not..test drive one....its a funny car we still laugh at it ten days later....the only thing i dont like is that it doesnt have a sun roof and on our model year...wasnt an option..on the civic...this is our third..wouldnt buy a used car if you paid me to take it..our first civic was used..had a problem with the left wheel we realized two years later after multiple attempts to get the dealership to fix the alignment...someone told us the real problem...took that car and traded it in..on an 06 was brand new...we traded that car on the fourth of july and had to wait ten days to get a civic in our part of the states....the 06 was a great car great body style..was new for that year..problem after problem...first in jan of this year the power steering pump went out...then a month ago..the air conditioner started leaking water in the floor...after three dealerships later and it being in one shop or another for the last month we traded it buy used you are only buying someone elses problem.....if you can get a fit which there is a huge wait on them right now..i would buy a fit...brand new
