Default Electric window wont go down - how do I replace regulator if window wont go down?

1992 Honda accord - driver window is stuck in the up position, according to the book, I have to lower the window to remove the glass from the regulator - how do I do this if the motor is burned out?

I have a new regulator and motor to replace the old one with.

Thanks.
