Default can fuel pump be defective and still start car when it is cold but not when it's hot?

can fuel pump be defective and still start car when it is cold but not when it's hot?

No its the fuel FILTER that causes that symptom

The biggest problem that I see on Honda for intermittent start is the main relay that controls the fuel pump and the injection sys. The relay is under the dash on the drivers side. It is not easy to replace. Need to know the year and model to help further. Honda fuel pumps don't often fail.

yes, but i never had this issue on a Honda. It did happen in my old Caravan.
