Default Honda Del Sol?

I am 15 and was thinking about getting a Del Sol for my first car. It falls within my price range, though they are'nt the most available cars ever. I am willing to wait to find one for my first car when I turn 16. I was wandering:Is it a good car?How good is the actual mileage (not just what the sticker would say)? How practical is it?Does the removable hardtop have leakage problems?

Sounds like a great choice to me. It's a small car so it will be easy to park and drive, it's mileage would also be pretty good for a car it's speed since its small and lightweight.Practicality is the main weakness, if you ever get your girlfriend knocked up you know the first thing she'll tell you is you are putting a ring on her finger when you turn 18 and the second will be that you are buying a car with 4 doors even if you have to sell your Del Sol to get one.

Honda makes the most reliable, longest lasting cars in the world.Nothing else beats Honda. The Del Sol is actually a Honda Civic. Same engine and chassis. It gets great gas mileage since it has such a small engine. You will average around 34mpg.It is not practical since it only seats 2 people and has a small trunk. It is a Roadster, which is made for fun, not practicality. They do not have leakage problems as far as I know. I read consumer reviews about them and they never talk about any problems with Honda's.

They are identical to civics. They are reliable and share the same motors as civics. The hardtop does leak...so be careful when you find one. It cost over 800 bucks to replace the seals.
