Default HotWiring a Honda Civic Hybrid???? without the Chip!! is it possible??

I live in apartments and I want to iknow if it would be possible for a thief to turn on the car with out the chip..... you know how some cars can be turned on by Hotwiring...

No, it's not. Security now'a'days goes through the computer, there's no way of by-passing this without a PC. That's why car thefts have absolutely plummeted. We haven't fixed a steering column in a car in a few years now at our shop, when it wasn't uncommon to do one or two a month a few years ago.What people are actually doing now is breaking into houses to steal your spare set of keys

Relax. Although it is of course possible it would require much more than breaking the steering column and twisting a couple of wires together. This would require replacing many parts in the car. Also, may I commend you on your choice of car, and your choice to live in an apartment. Both help the earth. Good morning StarshineThe Earth says hello.

Hot wiring is not something you need to worry about. Those that can do it are not car thieves.
