Default Engine swap info for a 92 Civic

I've got a 92 Civic hatch with the D15B7 engine (auto trans) . A friend of mine has a 94 Acura Integra with the B18B1 engine (again , auto trans). I want to swap over the engine into my hatch . I have been told this will work , but being they are different engine codes (D and B) , I am not sure . Anybody ever done this , or at least able to shed some light on this? I would hate to go to all the trouble of trying to swap the engine only to find it just won't work!

I am no after opinions of if it is worth it or not , just after whether it is physically possible , or if there is too much fab work needed to fit the engine in . I am not worried about gas mileage , either , as my other vehicle is a V8 truck , so it will better than that . I am a mechanic , and plan to build up this engine , with maybe a future turbo install . I have done some homework , and have found out the weak spots of the engine . The reason I want to swap engines is because the 1.5 in my civic has about 300,000kms on it , and it is burning alot of oil .

I am getting this car for $200 . The body can be compared to swiss cheese , with all the rust , but it runs good . If the body were in better shape , I would fix up the Integra , and sell the Civic . I will pull the drivetrain after I get the car (mid-August is when I get it) , and rebuild the engine over the winter as time and money allow . I hope to bump up the horsepower to the tune of about 200 , with the bottom end capable of handling a possible future turbo , as stated previously . I also want to see about putting in the 4-disc brakes from the Integra into the Civic , but thats a different story . And to top it all off , the Integra has A/C , and the Civic doesn't (yet) . That Civic with the black interior gets pretty warm sitting in the sun all day before I get off work!
