Default 1987 civic tire wear issue

Hi All,

New here. I have a wonderful civic. It has 114k miles on it and runs great (generally). My issue is that the front tires are wearing on the inside much more so than the outside. I believe this is negative camber; not sure. I am quite handy and learn quickly and want/need to fix the front end.

My question is: will replacing the lower control arm address this issue or need I just get the cars front end aligned? I don't want to show up at a garage and have them tell me they cannot align the front end w/o replacing ...... and me telling them I will do the repairs and come back for an alignment later.

thanks for any input
