is 250 000kms on a 94 honda civic decent?

250k miles is alot but because its an old car that is pretty typical. There will probably be problems with it unless its previous owner was a car enthusiast

I have a 98 EX with close to 300000 km and she still runs pretty smooth.If I were to sell her, I'd probably get $1000 (CAD) however!

250,000 km = 155,343 milesThat's not to bad considering it's a Honda but it also depends on how much they are askingOne thing on Honda's is the timing belt, if that wasn't replaced either ask the owner to repair it or deduct some of the cost off the asking price to get it done. At around 100k these need to be replaced if they snap it will bend the valves and the motor is doneI wouldn't give them more then 2,500 American for it (and that is if it was loaded and a 4 door) stripped to the ground and a 2 door I wouldn't give them more then 1,500 American

I know Civics (92-95) that have 287 000 & more kms on them & running fine.I expect the same for this 1, but don't expect no 'hiccups' at all.
