So my Transmission needs re-building. I have a 2002 Accord Coupe EX v6. The 2002, unlike the 1999-2001 has not received a recall on the Tranny yet. My question is, if I get my transmission re-built at an independent shop, and then Honda eventually issues a Recall on the Transmission - will I get reimbursed? Or, do I need to have the work done at a Honda Dealership in order to get reimbursed for a future recall?
Thanks |
