Well to tell you the truth, all hondas are pretty great cars, honda civics and accords are the best, they look nice and they can run forever. I have a friend with a 91 accord and his is still going strong after over 175,000 miles. although like any other car company, they have had some glitches, and the 02 model is one of them. on the 98-2002 model of the accord, the automatic transmissin commonly fails, and it cost about 3500 dollars to replace.Hondas get great mileage!!City: 23-26 mpgHighway: 30-32 mpg

Oh its definitely a great car. My uncle has one, he's taken it up to about 200,000 miles now i believe. Still running good, original engine, he had the transmission replaced once under warranty, but that's probably because he used to drive the car very hard/fast and in stop and go traffic about 4 hrs a day. It's a really good car though, i borrowed it before, he has the 4cyl and i go about 25mpg driving it around the city and a little highway. No bad, especially for a large car that's got a lot of room and still doesn't feel all that slow. It will last you, just remember to keep up with the scheduled maintenance, especially the timing belt (change every 60,000 miles or 5 years). It makes a great first car, good on gas, lots of room for friends, and easy to repair/maintain and it helps that its not expensive on insurance either!

I have a 2004 Honda Accord that I purchased New in 04. I now have a little over 114,000 miles on it. Besides regular maintenance I have only put about $500 in repairs to my car. That was for two sensors that went out at different times. My car still runs the same as it did when I first purchased it. I love it and I'm happy I decided to buy it! I only need it last me 1 1/2 more years with little to no repairs so I can finish school!!! knock on wood!!!

I had a silver ex 4 banger. I traded for an ody. But now i wish i still had it. Honads are really good cars. I will not buy any other brand. And the Camary, (No offense to some who have them) are i think grandma cars. Good luck.
