Default Mods for my 2000 civc si?

I finally got my 2000 civic si and so happy. So I save up $6k for one but got it for $2200 with only 54k miles. It runs like new so now I got money left over to buy some upgrades/mods. I was wondering what could I get to make it faster?

I would be fitting nice set of wheels, fitting new lowered springs and shocks, or coil overs, fitting new bigger swaybars, new rubbers all round, probably throw on a carbon fibre hood, some headlight covers and a set of altezza tail lights, as well as fitting some new gold rotors and painting your calipers in a bright colour, and then start on performance.I would really only put on a full exhaust system, and a cold air intake with a performance panel filter. Maybe detail under the hood and fit some perfromance spark plugs and a set of coloured wires.Civics are Go Karts, They arent particualrly fast, however they can be made handle like a demon and they look pretty nice if they are done right. Put your money into the handling and the looks. It will be a lot more fun than having something that goes fast, but doesnt stop or handle. Trust me.

CMpunk is a douche. only listen to him if you want to totally degrade the Si name and turn your bad ass car into a peice of shit ricer!. with the much get a 5zeigen fireball muffler a high flow catalytic converter. good headers. AEM v2 intake a short shifter leave the Si rims on they are so sexy lower it on eibach coilovers and put low pro tires on it and it will make the rims look bigger if thats what you want. leave it stock looking or go jdm. if you have any questions email me. i used to have a 99 si and did all my own work so i know my way around the EM1 Si

well spoken . even though i would have to say just Aem cold air intake (not v2). cause in a prelude the v2 is worse than stock. actually get a cheap 50 buck cold air intake from ebay and throw a K & N filter on there. the piping is perfectly fine just the filter is kinda crappy. dont waste your money on AEM or other brands.
