Default is there any room for negotiation on new car(2008 Civic)?

If so, what a good final price for a 2008 Honda Civic ES with dealer financing.

Sure there's lots of room. Buy something else.

the only room in negotiation on the 2008 Civic is how much over the sticker price you're willing to pay. The Honda and the Fit/jazz are the hot products and no honda dealer is discounting them. most are asking a premium over list price.

Honda doesn't dicker, they don't have to. Either you pay for the car and the gas or don't buy the car...

Actually, Honda does let you bargain with the price a bit. The thing is, you have to get quotes from other dealerships and let the next dealership beat their price. I managed to get an '08 civic LX 4 door down to 16,850 before tax/license. The MSRP is like 18,100, so theres definitely bargaining room especially where the economy is, they want to see high sales numbers for American Honda. So don't think you can't haggle. It also depends what part of the country youre in. I am in So. Cal where there are dealerships all over the place.
