Im going to try to buy a 1992 honda prelude si. I forogt which motor it had in it. and if it was a vtech. All i remember is that it was a h motor. I think a h22 but im not sure.

it is an h23. that also means it doesnt have VTEC....not "vtech"

i was also hearing that its a h20? what would be better. the h20 or h23 or a lets just say a b18 vtec. should i go with one that is a vtec? or would the h20 or h23 be just as good or better?

you dont want an h20. but those were made in the UK so idk if you live there or not. well the b series are not on that prelude. unless you or someone else put it in there for you. if you got a vtec you would be a little faster than an
h23. but it would also cost more. so if you took the money you saved from buying the h23 and put it into it you would be just as fast and probably faster than a vtec.

I live in the USA. so ill problly go with that h23 and just use spare money with that. Around how much money owuld it take to get the h23 at around 300+ hp?

about 3-4 thousand for a turbo. which will put you about 300 hp.
