Default Repainting a 1998 Honda Accord?

Hey everyone. So here's the deal, I've recently acquired a 1998 Honda Accord sedan with some pretty crappy paint on it.So we're gonna repaint it but I'm not really sure what color I want yet. As of right now, I'm stuck between Black Currant Pearl and Eternal Blue Pearl. What do you guys think? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Nothing looks better than a black car. Let me rephrase that, nothing looks better than a CLEAN black car.Black is an awesome color. It will get HOT in the sun, and it will show a lot of dirt, making it hard to keep clean. But when it shines, its a sight to be seen.

Black naturally shows dirt more, The blue is nice. I prefer Silver, it looks cleaner longer. The pearl Clear coat is really cool on the Silver. My friend paints cars and he likes to lay down a pattern after it's painted then spray the pearl clear coat down and remove the pattern. Then clear it again with out the pearl. This way you get (ghost patterns) that show in the sun. But it doesn't look cheesy.

1) The darker the paint the higher the maintenance. Gets dirtier quicker.2) A paint with more silver flakes in it the harder it'll be to match it later on.3) What color paint makes feel better (mood) 'cause you'll looking at it everyday.4) Custom paint jobs are harder to get touch paint for.5) Find a color that will be between what you like and what the other driver likes.6) Eternal ... paint won't show swirll marks or scratches as much as the black one would.

I've been in the market for a repaint also, this is some of what I've learned. For a deep metallic paint, you should expect to pay $100-$150 per panel being painted. Any more, you're probably getting ripped, any less, I'd question quality of workmanship (some cheap paint jobs will look good for now and peel in 4-5 years). Pearl will cost $150-$200 per panel. If money isn't an option, I'd favor the Black Currant. Rarely seen, but hot on any car.

Electron Blue Pearl Flamenco Black Pearl Milano Red Vogue Silver Metallic (Canada only)those are the colors of the 99-00 Si they are all very pretty and your accord would look sick in any of those colors. i agree with everyone else. darker colors are harder to keep clean but when it is clean it looks soo much better than the others. i personally would do the black or the silver for your car. i cant post links for some reason so if you are curious of what the colors look like you can email me and ill send the links
