Honda Prelude Active TOrque Transfer (ATTS)?
Honda prelude (97-01) 2.2 VTI UK spec has Active torque transfer system. when you turn the ignition on does the ATTS light come on and go out when the enging is turned on?? becuse on my prelude the light doesn't come on when i turn the ignition on. I think my car has ATTS but not sure. any help or any info on the ATTS would be really great.

it should be like the abs light,illuminte for a few second when the cars ignition is switched on..

The ATTS light will come on as a check when you turn on the ignition. If it doesn't, it's probably not fitted!To double check, look under the front of the car - the offside driveshaft will have a large, chunky box on it if it has ATTS, or just an intermediate bearing if it hasn't.

if you have ATTS you should have a fuse for it in your fuse box. Check and see if there is a ATTS fuse, if there is, you probably have ATTS and it's just not working. If you don't, then i'm pretty sure you wont have ATTS. A green/yellow light should come on when you start the car for ATTS, if it doesn't, you might not have ATTS. The UK spec's had a VTI with and without ATTS, so you might have the one without it.
