...48 hrs. ??? they told me I would get it within 48 hrs unless there were unforeseen circumstances and that they were 99.9% sure it would be there on timeit is a 08 honda civic ex it was suppossed to be gray now they said that they dont have a gry in that model so we had black or silver we said it didnt matter first they told us on a friday we would have it then it would be sat evening then they said monday then wednesday now it is friday still no car??lol I dont want my money back though I want that darn car lolmy ac went out on my car and a bunch of other things I have a 4 month old baby I need that car now they keep telling me is coming on so and so truck and then the truck comes and it s not on there dont they know ahead of time?

Did you sign anything?If you paper work says you can get your money back then please do so.If your paper work says you can not have your money back then you have to wait.Get more paper work in the future. Ask for a piece of paper and a pen. Write on it "You will refund my deposit in 48 hours if you do not deliver the car specified with vin #76789whatever"If they look at you crazy and say that they won't sign go to another dealer.I have no idea why people give other people in business transactions more power then themselves.

Obviously the dealer is having difficulty obtaining that vehicle from another dealer in a dealer trade....you have 2 options: either wait longer ( but put a limit on it to them - like 2 days), or you can demand your money back and go elsewhere!

i would go down and talk to the person thats highest up in management as you can and tell them i want my ****ing car or my money back! and threaten a legal matter unless you signed something that would make it where you cant sue or anything. in this case you would have to look for a loop hole in the contract or agreement

Economy cars are in very high demand right now due to gas prices. I would confront them, mention to take your business elsewhere. Tell them your reasons for needing it ASAP. Maybe they have a loaner with a working A/C you could tool around in for a few days. Either that or maybe they would be willing to cover for a rental for a few days to save the deal.

Doing a dealer exchange on this car is very difficult right now. We went from about 100 Civics in a wide array of trims to 6-7 within a month. The ones we have left are with leather and navi or manual transmission. At least you have a deposit and will get one. Unfortunately later then sooner you will get one. The Galaxy Gray is one of the most popular colors and may take some time to get because other dealers will not give them up. Either way they shouldn't have told you one thing and then string you along.
