Default which should i buy, the accord or the civic Si?

I like the civic Si alot but it requires premium gas so that is a waste. The accord is alot more expensive.also, any chance the Si will not require premium in future models?

I would say the Civic SI, but it's all what you're into. They both get exceptional gas milage but again all depends on what you are looking for. They are both about the same size but one is a lot sportier and fun. In my case i would rather have fun and get the Si because it is fun and performance when i'm looking for that and casual luxary when im driving to work. All up to you.

Go with Si, but if you cannot afford to fill premium gas, you should just start walking. Because Accord is bigger car, and uses more gas. So it isn't necessary more fuel efficient car.Do a simple math, take premium fuel price, subtract the regular fuel price, then multiply by the size of Si gas tank (11 Gal) Premium gas would cost you like $2 - 3 more than filling with regular. If you cannot afford additional $2 - $3 hit per fill, you cannot afford to drive this car.

The si will always require premium it is higher compression engine. i would go with the si, but thats probably because thats what i have i was choosing between a 08 civic si coupe or an 08 honda accord ex coupe. i chose the civic because its more fun to drive and actually gets better gas mileage and more hp than the accord. the cost of the accord was also a lot more than my si and i got my si with navi and summer tires plus the whole hfp body kit and 18 in. rims.
