It'd cost $50-100 bucks depending on where you go.

Your car has R134a in it which you can buy in automotive store and charge it yourself. That way u save money.R134a is replacement of R12 which ic CFC and don't need to be certified to do it yourself.

If you take it to a small mechanic they can probably recharge your AC for about $70. If you take it to the dealer they'll probably charge you $150 or more for the same service. I would just go to a small mechanic and get it done, or you can get it done yourself if you know how to. I know a lot about cars mechanically, but i don't mess with the AC system in any of my cars, a local shop here recharges it for like $60.

it all depends on if your car is currently using r12 or r134a frreon....if its r134a, you can do it yourself.....if its r12 and you want to keep it r12, you would need to take it to the shop....or you can convert it yourself from r12 to r134a with the self install kit....but make sure you empty out you ac lines before you put the r134a in....if not...KABOOM....they are not mixable
