Default Honda Civic Si V Hyundai Tiburon Gt?

Which would you choose? They are both beautiful cars although I think the Tibby looks better. Civic:197 horsepower139 ft lb torque (Maybe?)0-60: 6.7 secondsTibby:172 Horsepower181 ft lb torque @ 3800 rpms0-60: 7.7 secondsI own the Tibby, my friend owns the Civic. I know the car is faster than mine. But, the tibby is just a pleasure to drive around. Can someone explain to me how the Civic has a lower 0-60 then my Tibby while having less torque?Which would you choose?oiy, with a few simple mods my tibby could smoke any Civic. I dont care about smomking other cars, as long as its fun to d rive.

Civic hands down, There track record is better, as in there reliability, Road and track wrote the Tiburon was fun to drive but lacked steering response and seemed to heavy.Civic's are just a blast to dive and by adding a few easy mods would smoke the tiburon. Air intake, Header, exhaust.I didn't ever go into Resale value.

It's all in power to weight ratio. That V6 engine in the tiburon weighs a lot, a lot more than the civic, which explains the faster 0-60 time. Also, the civic has a much better transmission and better throttle response IMO. Personally, I would prefer the civic on the basis of it's handling, and good gas mileage. Plus Honda makes a civic SI sedan, so it's somewhat practical as well.

civics are typically light cars. we had a 99 civic Si with light modifications that smoked a gt mustang that was supercharged. and by light modifications i mean headers exhaust intake

Let us be reminded that civics have i-vtec (newer ones) and vtec for the older ones. still their vvt technology kicks ass and makes up alot for it. i'm assuming your gt is a v6 the numbers for it are pretty lame despite the fact that the civic is a 4 cylinder. civic all day any day every day go sell your tibby while you still can.
