OK....first you've got to understand the engine code. The "B" is the code for the engine block. All B16's, B18's, B20's used the same basic block. The "18" stands for the displacement or engine size...1.8 liters. Now what comes after is important. The B18B is the weak ass Integra LS engine 130-140hp depending on year and country. Some Honda guys buy the cheap LS Integra with the B18B non VTEC engine and swap a VTEC head from a B16A or B18C.The GSR Integra comes with a VTEC B18C making 170hp. I'd find one of those (if you can find one some moron hasn't run the life out of).

well first off the ls/gs/rs never come with v-tec unless swapped in also the gsr is faster because it comes with v-tec and you also have the type-r its faster then the gsr because it has a b18c i say u go for that one its worth fixing up

if you want to go with v-tec go ls-v use your block and get a b16 or b18c head and put it on your block you will need a v-tec ecu gsr oil pump gsr whater pump and gsr timing belt oil line and you have to tap for your head and head gaskit best way to go
