Default 94 Accord Won't Shift - Error code help?

I swamped my 94 Accord LC in water a few days ago. I took it to the shop and when I got it back it started fine but the transmission is not working right.
Mostly it won't go higher than second gear. It won't shift into 3rd or 4th gear, although I think sometimes it starts out in 3rd gear. The symptoms are inconsistent. Mostly it won't go higher than second gear.--
So I jumped the connectors and got the trouble codes blinked out by the Check Engine light. The D4 light has not been lighting at all, it's always dark.
But I jumped the connector and I got a code 41 (4 long, 1 short, right?) and a code 14 (1 long, 4 short).
Anybody got any advice for me?
