Default I want to transplant a F20C Honda S2000 motor into my 88 civic hatch, is it possible?

I found this 250 hp F20C motor online and it beats the heck out of my 170 hp JDM ZC swap, so I want to put it in, would that work? could I make it work if there is problems? thanks.

you might have problems with the transmission adaptation. i think the bell housings would be different, but not sure.

You'd have to fab up some sort of ridiculous bellhousing to make that work. The F20 is only used in rear wheel drive applications, and your car is obviously front. That of course is assuming you're able to get past the initial challenge of fitting the motor in there safely anyways. There's a reason it hasn't been done.Drop a K in that fool!

Don't forget us mofokas who have the knowhow to maintain our cars. Any juvenile idiot can mortgage his balls and buy a late model car.

I have a newer car (2006) but I still have my '88 Accord LXi that's in better shape than most cars on the road half its age. Both bought with cash.
