Default We have a 2008 Accord LX in the family and I have an airconditioning question?

While driving down the road, it's frosty-cold. When I stop at a traffic signal, the air coming out warms up to around "room temperature." When I take off from the light, it gets cold again. What's up with that? Is it normal? Thanks Tronary. I'll check that when the car gets home. I don't understand how the radiator fan could effect air conditioning output?

You need to open the hood, while parked at home, start engine, turn on a/c and the radiator cooling fan should start. If not you have a problem with the fan or the relay that turns it on.

most newer cars due this it takes more power to run ac units so alot of them are designed to do this but if this dont satisfiy you take it to your honda dealer you have a warranty tell them your concerns and im 150% sure they will do whatever it takes to make you happy with your car that i am completely sure of by the way good choice in vehicles and i hope you enjoy it

I have a 2008 Accord EXL-V6 and it does NOT do what you describe. The air is always cold. Take it to the dealer.
