not 100% sure but unless it has a engine swap it should be a D16Y8 which is SOHC VTEC

look the the right of your headers. between the headers and tranny. it will say something like d16 d15 b16 blah blah. if its D series its single. its its B series its dual. so single SOHC dual DOHC which is just dual over head cam or single over head cam. you can usually tell though. heres a picture difference the first link is dohc second sohc http://got-jdm.com/images/B16lb.jpgh.../502/sc1.jpgso as u can tell. big difference in the look between the two. if its vtec it will usually say it on the valve cover. like u see in the pics. if you have doubts find the engine code by the headers and tranny like i said and message me and i can tell you. or you can drive it and if at around 5500 rpm it sounds like you floored it. you have vtec. heres a video so u know what it sounds like. it sounds like you floor it suddenly but you dont.http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...i-DA&hl=enVTEC hits at about 20-21 seconds and again at about 43-44 seconds. its very distiguishable.
