Default Pricing for a used 1994 honda accord motor?

I just recently bought a 94 honda accord for really cheap. The problem is that the motor is no good. I need help to figure out where i can find a new/used motor. And about how much its going to cost me for the motor and the labor. Any bit of help is much appreciated. Thank You

Same idea here... not sure why you bought a car with no motor. Unless u got for $50 and already have a good car. Personally, if your looking for a regular motor that comes with the car... its not too expensive... $700 maybe $900. But labours looking at at least a grand. If your doing this just to put in a stock accord motor and use it as your daily driver, sell it and get one with a good motor cuz itll be cheaper than doing the swap. But if your building it up to be street worthy... go with an H22A OBDII motor. It costs like $1500... has 200HP. and is Dohc Vtec. Its going to cost approx $2500-$3000 depending on what u want to get it installed but is worth it. If not... just get a new car.

Do a internet search for local automotive recycling yards. Call them up and ask for the motor. If you don't have any local then order it from the internet. Those motors only for for a few hundred dollars. Usually around 500 for a complete assembly.Labor your looking at anywhere from 500-1000. Since its just the same engine into the same car then id say around 500 in labor.Engine + labor = 1000-1500
