Can the valves on a 1982 Honda Accord engine be adjusted?

yes, and they should be adjusted every 15,000 miles on that car. they should first be adjusted with the engine hot then, cool the engine down using a box fan or just let it sit until its cool and check the adjustment cold.hope that helps
