you must be talking about a civic type r motor.. cuz the integra T-R is a b18... and that would mean your importing it from japan...but to answer your question, sort of... go to your local shop and check with the emision laws, they should be able to tell you... i would think it would be fine, there shouldnt be a problem, but then again, i dont live in mexico

yes they are. my friends granpa works in the dmv in tj. no smog checks are required. so you can have any motor. the b16b is the civic type r motor. b18c is integra type r... good choice in motor. i got a b16b. i eat mustangs for breakfast and camaros for dinner...the only thing v8's eat are money when it comes time to pump gas.
