I have a 2007 Civic Si sedan, and I love it. If you don't need the space of the Accord, it is definitely a lot of fun to drive an Si. Uses premium fuel though.

the civic si's insurance will be higher because its considered a sports car, the 06-08 model civic si's take premium gas and the accord takes regular unleaded, the civic si gets good gas mileage too, the civic si only comes in stick

All of these are good answers, but really think about what you will need your car for- not just now but down the road. The Civic Si is a fun, reliable car, but it uses premium gas and costs as much as an Accord EX 4 cylinder- which also has a bigger engine with VTEC but is bigger, roomier, cheaper to insure, and runs on regular fuel. EXs are also nice to drive, but the Si is flat out fun and has more hp. They get about the same mpg though. If you don't really care about space, why are you considering an Accord? The Civic Si should be your only choice- unless you want an automatic transmission.

For better gas mileage and price terms go for civic.

Listen to Terrance B. Go with the Civic si. More HP, good gas mileage and more fun to drive.
