Both are great cars, I prefer Honda. Have owned 2, both were bullet-proof. Toyota is good too, test drive or rent one of each and decide for yourself. You can't go wrong with either one.

Honda Accord. I've seen/driven both. Before the new Accord came out i thought the Camry was a pretty good car. But the 08 Accord is much better. Love the extra space it has, the Accord feels a lot smoother and its got the better performance, good on gas too for a sedan. Luxury wise, the Accord wins again, the Camry interior looks plain while the Accord's looks better. Everything else is pretty much more luxurious in the Accord too, i will say though that the Camry seems to have less road noise.Honda's outlast most other cars. I have 3 and they are the 3 best cars i've ever driven, and they last a long time, parts/service aren't to $$$ when its time for servicing and haven't had any major problems really.

Toyota's I would say are the best for performance, but extremely poor in both interior and exterior styling. Toyota's, looks wise, are just plain BORING looking. They have no sense of line or symmetry, they look like moving bubbles line-less and drab. Honda seems to understand symmetry of mind far better than Toyoda's? Have you seen some of those Toyota's with the 1950's Godzilla teardrop eyes for headlamps? Pathetic. Their minivans look like something out of a Japanese horror film--outdated before they even got on car sales lot. Honda looks nicer, but I will say that I think Toyota makes the better vehicle performance wise. If only they could put the two together, I think no one could compete with Toyota, but as long as they continue to make classless, line-less, mal shaped vehicles with warped eyes and blobby bodies they will suffer. Honda has come a long way from making lawnmowers.

Default Re: Honda Accord or Toyota Camry?

Hi. First, let's get the nomenclature out of the way: Accords are formed in 2-doors, 4- doors, and wagons. Any of these can be obtained in three trims: DX, LX, and EX. The last two are also available with the 2.7 V6. Camrys now come in 4-doors only and are designated CE, LE, XLE, with the latter two available with the sixes. Accord gives out the VTEC (variable valve timing and lift system) stuff strictly with the EX and I have used it in the comparison. Toyota keeps matters simple and has only one four on the menu. Count me in....Honda lovers.
