Hi,

The central locking on my 96' Honda Odyssey is behaving strangely. When opening the car from the drivers side, all doors open fine. When locking the the car from the drivers side, only the drivers side door locks. It only started doing this recently but has gradually become worst and now the other doors won't lock at all.

You can hear the "solenoid" in the central locking computer click when trying to lock the doors but only manual locking works. I would really appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction.

I managed to locate the problem. The relay in the central locking box located in the drivers door could be heard clicking when trying to lock the doors, but nothing happened. Opening the box revealed that there are two relays - one for locking and the other for opening (I think). As a test I swapped the two relays and soldered them back on. The locking and opening works fine now. It could have been dry joints?? - anyways I am happy.
