Default 1994 honda civic ex 2dr automatic transmisson?

what does D4,D3,2,1 mean on the gears from park reverse neutral drive and all that.... know what im sayin? what does it do or the difference or what is the tricks on doing things on that...

The EXTRA D are mean for heavy pulling or long uphill climbing (with full load).In general, you can just leave it in D (drive).Good Luck...

wrong helper, d4 means drive range 4 (four gears available) d3 means 3 gears available 2 means 2 gears available1 means low gear onlyd4 is usually used on the freeway or when you do not have a heavy load. fourth gear is an overdrive increasing the output of the engine increasing your gas mileage. the only problem with fourth gear is low torque in high gear.
