that point? Im really worried after reading about people who keep posting saying that chaning or flushing transmission fluid in your car can destroy your transmission. I had mine changed..or flushed im not really sure it was at a valvoline drive-through station, about 2 months ago and at that time my 05 Automatic Civic was at 53,000 miles. Now its at a little over 54,000. Was it ok to have it done when i did it? Or is my tranny going to be in trouble now???? Right before having it done the fluid was a very slight brownish color, but still mostly red/pink. I dont feel like the car is running any worse or anything, but still after reading all the questions and responses expressing how people have had problems after flushes i am concerned that what i have done will eventually cause the tranny to go bad in the near future!

no its fine, these people who your are talking about must be smoking crack.changing oil never hurts anything, its always makes everything run smoother and last longer, i change my tranny oil every 15,000 miles to keep them gears shifting smooth

you should not run into any problems at this point . those problems usually occur after 75-100,000 miles in the original fluid. but for your information, that fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles. double check this with the maintenance guide in the owners manual and use the severe driving schedule.
