Default 95 Accord Temp down while drive, way up while idle
My 95 Accord temp gauge is usually just below the half way point after warmed up by regular driving. However, when I stop for a red light or idle in park, the tempo gauge rises to the red in about a minute or two. Once I start to drive again, the gauge goes down to the half way point again.

Does this indicate a radiator issue? thermostat issue?

Any info is grealy appreciated.

Do the cooling fans come on? Could be a fuse, fan thermoswitch on the radiator or just a loose connector (I've seen it happen!)

I noticed yesterday that when I turn the engine off only one of the two fans in front of the radiator goes on. Should these fans be going on while I'm driving? Should they both go on after the engine is off?
