I have a 89 accord 4 cylinder with an automatic. I've replaced the starter & battery cables. When I try to crank it over I hear a click above the fuse box in the inside. When I try it with the lights on they do not dim so the battery is strong. When I place it in reverse the back up lights come on so I think the neutral safety switch is ok. I do have a light burnt out on the gear selector next to the speedometer for d4. I'm at a loss here, is there a fusible link I'm missing? All the fuses are good. I had the problem a few other times and the next day it would start. The car never did this when it was hot. My wife says she had a hard time turning the key at times, but when the wheel was turn it would unlock it. I'm not having that problem with it though.
