I have a1990 Honda accord with i/h/e and am wondering would it be worth it to add a bisimoto camshaft or should I paint my car? Ive received some gains from the i/h/e but now should I keep going? or work on the cosmetics? The engine is the f22a1. Keep in mind I just wanted to upgrade my vehicle for a few more horsepower, not to race other people.

Depending on the cams, it will give you a couple extra 1-2hp through the mid-range rpm and maybe 2-3hp in the upper rpm. You can get more power if you change cam timing 3-4hp. But changing your cam timing will give you a rough idle and effect you on lower rpm, which you would daily drive in.Although, it will give you more power, a nice paint job for that year car might be a better option, increase resell value and appearance, and stop new rust.My friend has a 1990 predule with a nice paint job and it looks sharp, first car I usually notice in the parking lot.

get the paint job stand out more then the rest i had the same thng except im done wit the paint im modding the car
