Default I have a 95 Honda Accord. I put my driver side window down yesterday and now it wont go up??!!!?

My other 3 windows work fine, its just the drivers side door. It did this to me 2 weeks ago and it worked 10 minutes later. But it does not want to go up since yesterday.....any advice??? I have electric windows by the way.......it will go down because it was halfway at first but will not go up.....

I'm sure it could be many different things. Mine did that and it was off track. Your's sounds more like a short or motor problem. Go by a Honda dealership and see.

Same thing happens with my 2001 Camry, on the front passenger door. I find that if I turn it off and back on a few minutes later it works. Once or twice I had to ask someone to pull it up with their hands as I pressed the button. It seems to work better when it is warmer.I think there is a relay or something that is going out. Just take it in, should be easy to fix. If they try to charge you for a new motor, take it somewhere else.

Jeeps are notorious for having that happen (my dad has one). He rolled the window down and it just stayed there. He could pull it up, but it slid right back down. You need to take your car to a repair shop. It can be kind of expensive though... Up to $200, but I think my dad got his fixed for about $75. It's so frustrating and happened to the other windows too! Just hope that that doesn't happen!I hope I could help!

It is most likely the window motor is gone. If you know how to take the door panel off, you can try to supply power directly to the motor and see if it runs.

This could be of motor jam. My window jammed and I took it to a local garage, it was due to the electrical problem in the motor. Better take your car to any garage who can work on electrical motors.

You need the window rolling mechanism reinstalled. We just had one put in on our car. Around $300 to fix on a Honda. However, if you're lucky it could've just came off the track. $50 to fix.
