No, only if the old hub is damaged i.e, scored by the failed bearing. EAsiest way nto check for damage or scoting is to lightly run your finger around the centre hole in the hub. If you feel any roughness or ridges, then the hub is damaged and needs to be replaced.You should never reuse a damaged hub as this can and will lead to failure of the bearing again.

NO! Generally you only replace a hub if it is bent!If a repair facility tells you you need them ask them why! Most times when you press out a hub from an old bearing, portions of the bearing remain on the hub and if you dont have the right tools its just easier and quicker to press a new hub into a new bearing.And WOW imagine this-- the repair shop can make more money!Most any honda hub can be cleaned up and reused.
