Look at the bottom of your radiator and find the large black hose that travels up over top of trans and turns into engine block(bottom and left of distributor cap).Dont remove hose but remove two 10mm bolts on the hose housing and and pull apart(expect alot of coolant if you have not drained it!).

its easy.on the bottom of the radiator there is a large hose (passenger side), follow it up to where it connects to the side of the block, below the distributor. pull the clip back with pliers, and twist/pull the hose off. thats the thermostat housing. there will be 2 10mm bolts, remove them and there is your thermostat.pull it, replace it. reinstall bolts, reinstall hose. refill coolant (you will spill coolant removing the hose).then you might need to bleed the coolant. run the car. while its running loosin the bleeder valve (i think its on the front of the head, below the top radiator hose), let it heat up a little until most of the air bubbles stop coming out and it looks more like a steady stream, tighten it up and top off the coolant.done.
