...trunk of my honda? i have a 96 honda civic lx does anybody know if a full size spare tire on the rim will fit in the temporary tire space in the trunk? i was planning to make a trip across country and especially when i get into the mountains i'd really feel much better if i could just throw on a full size tire instead of having to put on that stupid temporary.

yes but the peice that covers it will stick up a little and warp over time but if its just for a trip i would not worry to much about the warping part
