Just woundering, I have a BMW and it's a true sports car. I just get confused when I see "Cool" (haha) Civics driving around with all this mess glued to them. Do people really think they can turn an economy car into a sports car by getting a noisy tailpipe and a dopy-looking spoiler? Civic's are great cars, but in my opinion, far from "sporty."For all the money they spend on this crap, they could probably affoard my BMW.And i'm not talking about an S-2000. THAT'S a hot car!

I wondered that too until I saw a FORD WINDSTAR (no joke)with spinners, at that point the honda's started looking pretty sporty by comparison.

Because they are stupid people we like to call "ricers"...

I have always wondered the same thing and have laughed at all of them. Especially the sound those stupid mufflers make! Like a turbo sewing machine. Nothing like the real cars I grew up liking, Chevelles, Novas, Mustangs and Chargers. A nice 454 with dual exhaust is music to my ears.

It is a part of their daily motoring life. It makes them feel different though it annoys others. If the could afford BMW then they wouldn' be installing all those wings , spoilers or whatever they are called!!

this coming from a little skinny 15< refering to you being the 15 year old, not me kid... year old who doesnt know sht about cars, my 06 civic si will smoke the living hell out of your bmw 318 anyday kid bring it on, i agree with you to a certain extent but not fully, i have a spoiler on my car because i actually know whats it for plus a full catback exhaust, my friends h22turbo prelude will smoke a m3 anyday

honda civics should be scrapped along with the rubbish stuck to them and driving them

because all you see driving hondas are ricans and they think its cool.....i personally HATE hondas, wont ever drive one, or be seen in one

The same reason people put V-8's in there M3's. Its there form of personalizing their car. Trust me I hate to see a honda with a giant spoiler and candy painted with an exhaust thats screaming but the cars going 15 mph. Don't knock a civic though because theres a few B18/H22/K20 turbos that would leave a BMW staring at tail lights all day. Everyone wants to stand out, its just there way of expression.
