I'd like to buy an '08 Fit since the prices should go down a bit soon, but I've heard the '09 model has a lot of improvements to it, like a less bumpy ride and better feel going through turns. For everyone who has driven an '08 or earlier Fit, are these problems bad enough to warrant spending the extra $ on an '09 model?

Don't count on the price of the 2008 Fit going down. I work at a Honda Dealership and we are selling them at sticker price and can't keep them in stock. My advice to you is to get what you want. Price isn't going to matter whatsoever. If you want the 2008 get it (if you can find one) or if you want the 2009, wait a little while.

Price is not gonna go down much at all on those. The Honda dealers are selling them like hotcakes and most of them aren't really even negotiated on the price. So basically it just depends if you want it now or if you can wait for some improvements. Everyone i know that has an 08 fit loves it and laughs at me when it comes to filling up gas!
