no chimes and can't set radio code on 93 Accord SE
My wife has a 1993 Accord SE. Recently the ignition switch had to be replaced because it wouldn't start, or it would stop while being driven. First the mechanic changed the cable to the battery but it didn't solve the problem, but changing the ignition switch did.
After a few weeks I was driving and noticed the radio was asking for the anti-theft code for the Bose radio, but it wouldn't take the (correct) code. Later we noticed the chimes for the headlights when left on didn't work (that after a few jump starts). Could these problems be related to the ignition switch? Any other suggestions where to look.
