Default how much is this going to cost with labor and all?

i am going to get a cold air intake, about $150, a cat-back exhaust, about $500, and replace the headers, about $ 350. so thats about $1000 plus labor. so how much will labor be to have all that put in? any other suggestions to add to my 1995 honda civic lx's engine would be great too include the cost to purchase and labor please. thank you

Labor is usually about $70/hr.Not to bust your bubble. Just remember, you have a D16Y7 Engine. Even w/ all those mods you just listed, you will be lucky to even gain 15hp (more lucky not to loose power)You'll be better off putting your $ into suspension. The only real way to get power out of a D-series engine (w/o throwing thousands into it) is to boost (turbo) it.Check out www.superhonda.com look for Jo060 if you have more questions.

Scrap that plan and get a real car. You can't fail with american muscle. Get a 67 Chevelle as a project car and invest in building something like that up while using that Honda for about all it's good for, gas mileage and reliability.

Well where you gonna get it would be nice to know but it would cost about $1600 - $2000 but some places are cheaper then others. So I hope that helps you.

Oh jeez... Why even bother? your engine makes 140 stock. By adding headers, exhaust and intakes you will maybe make 10HP. Thats a strong maybe too. I don't even see how that is justifiable. If you have your heart set on getting these parts, do the labor yourself. none of that stuff is difficult to install, only basic hand tools. Save your money for a real car instead of "souping" up your honda. Oh and im 19 By the way. Good Luck.

show a garage what you want installed and they have a computer that tell them what to charge for each particular thing that you want done- The shop rate is $85 per hour for labor -they will take the time that it takes to install the items and then charge you $85 x that amount.

intake manifold, throttle body, cams. varies in price. you dont have to pay labour if you do it yourself. i did everything myself with no true experience working on cars. my car runs fine. they should come with instructions
